Since Orange Coast College (OCC) began its environmental efforts in 1970 by opening its own recycling center, OCC has become a leader among California institutions. Their “Healthy School” campaign is one of the main pieces of their sustainability plan. OCC wanted to integrate more sustainable solutions into the daily lives of students, faculty, and staff, so OCC turned to a Veritiv™ facility advisor for help converting the school to more sustainable cleaning chemicals and procedures.
